Grown on a single estate in the Stags Leap District, Chimney Rock’s Cabernet is made to show the tension between grace and power. This pair sets two consecutive vintages side by side, so you can taste how a place speaks through different years. One is a cooler, longer season, and the other is warmer, with deep concentration. It’s a gift for the collector, or for anyone who wants to learn what vintage really means. It arrives in a 2-bottle gift box.

2023 Stags Leap District Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
The 40th anniversary vintage, from a long, balanced season. Black currant, cherry, and plum, with caramel, cocoa, and hints of sage and vanilla. The palate is silky, with bright acidity and a long, smooth finish. A blend of 79% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot, and 1% Malbec, aged 18 months in French oak, half of it new. It earned 97 points from The Tasting Panel and 95 from Karen MacNeil.

2024 Stags Leap District Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
A warm vintage and an early harvest, with smaller berries and deep color. Blackberry, black currant, and plum, with cocoa powder and mocha. The palate is structured and rich, dark and brooding, with a long, silky finish. A blend of 77% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, 2.4% Petit Verdot, and 0.6% Malbec, aged 18 months in French oak, 40% of it new.

Both wines are 100% estate-grown in the Stags Leap District, from Napa Green certified vineyards. Pour them together, or lay one down and open the other tonight.
