At Chimney Rock, we are seriously committed to our Rosé and devote a prime section of our Cabernet Franc vineyards exclusively to its annual creation.
Using a delicate winemaking touch in the cellar, we press these grapes to tank and then nurture long, slow, cool barrel fermentations that preserve the incredible, multilayered aromas of cherries, violets and a hint of white pepper. The lush mid-palate of this dry Rosé gives it enough versatility to be a great addition to a picnic lunch at the beach or to accompany more serious dishes at your Thanksgiving table.
Tasting Notes:
This Rosé has layered aromas of bing cherry, strawberry and vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. It is a full bodied Rosé, with bright acidity and a lovely lingering finish. Only 258 cases produced.
