Description
At Chimney Rock, our winemaking team has dedicated nearly two decades of commitment to crafting great Rosé. We devote a prime section of our Cabernet Franc vineyards exclusively to its annual creation. Using a delicate winemaking touch in the cellar, we press these grapes to tank and then nurture long, barrel fermentations in neutral French oak that preserve the incredible aromas of cherries that overlay this beautiful Bordeaux variety. The lush mid-palate of this dry Rosé gives it enough versatility to be a great addition to a picnic lunch at the beach or to accompany more serious dishes at your Thanksgiving table.Aroma: The nose of this wine is reminiscent of a bowl of fresh cherries, with hints of apricot, floral and very subtle hint of white pepper.
Flavor: This is a full bodied rosé, lots of weight in the mid palate and bright acidity to add lovely lingering finish.
