From our Southern-most hillside – Alpine Vineyard traditionally gives us low yielding vines, which gift us with wines of beautiful structure and depth. This nearly thirty year old vineyard is situated in a slightly cooler spot on the estate, which endows the wine with intriguing nuance of dried herbs and a savory character.94 Points: "The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Alpine Vineyard is bright and punchy right out of the gate. In this range, the Alpine stands out for its red-toned fruit profile and lively acids. The new oak needs to integrate, but there is plenty to look forward to.
