Description
If you were to travel in time thousands of years ago to the hills of Napa Valley and you found yourself on the land that is now Chimney Rock you would likely catch a glimpse of the Wappo Indians, hunting for their subsistence in the sites which are now known as Arrowhead and Tomahawk Vineyard. They were one with the land and we try to emulate their respect and reverence for nature in everything we do. It was in their honor that these vineyards were named.The gentle slope of Arrowhead vineyard is just a few feet north of our acclaimed Tomahawk vineyard. In character, this wine is as brave as the people who once inhabited this land - bright and graceful, persistent and memorable. Enjoy this spirited ode to our history.
AROMA: Aromas of cherry and clove with a hint of vanilla.
FLAVOR: Rich and full on the front palate, this wine is medium-bodied. Fine grain tannins and a plush mid-palate lead to a bright acidity which gives this wine graceful texture.
