The soul of a vintner holds deeply carved memories of every harvest experienced. Living each day aware of how temperature fluctuations, rainfall, and seasonal changes impact grapevines creates impressions that are nearly indelible. Some vintages are particularly unforgettable due to more dramatic events. 2015 was one of those years at Chimney Rock. The third of three consecutive drought years along with a cool spell in the spring resulted in very small yields and early ripening. Mother Nature seemed to compensate for the lower yields by gifting us with some of the most beautifully aromatic grapes we have ever seen on the Estate. Join us in welcoming the first creation of this classic year.COLOR: Deep purple red

FLAVOR: This wine is silky smooth, full bodied with a deeply structured backbone of lush tannins and a long bright finish.
