Description
Alpine Vineyard comes from the southern-most hillside on our Estate. This cooler spot on traditionally gives us low yielding vines which gift us with wines of beautiful structure and depth. This wine is Cabernet Sauvignon for the purist – a singular expression of these remarkable 2 acres. This vineyard is planted to the same clone of Cabernet Sauvignon as part of our acclaimed Ganymede Vineyard: Clone 15.Color: Deep red with purple hue.
Aroma: This wine abounds with aromas of cocoa, cherry cola and has hints of tobacco leaf, mint and vanilla.
Flavor: This is a full bodied wine from start to finish – good structure with silky tannins and a long round finish.
