At Chimney Rock, we are seriously committed to our Rosé and devote a prime section of our Cabernet Franc vineyards exclusively to its annual creation.Using a delicate winemaking touch in the cellar, we press these grapes to tank and then nurture long, slow, cool barrel fermentations that preserve the incredible, multilayered aromas of cherries, violets and a hint of white pepper. The lush mid-palate of this dry Rosé gives it enough versatility to be a great addition to a picnic lunch at the beach or to accompany more serious dishes at your Thanksgiving table.
AROMA: The nose of this wine is reminiscent of a bowl of fresh cherries, with hints of apricot and floral.
FLAVOR: This is a full bodied rosé, losts of weight in the mid palate and bright acidity to add a lovely lingering finish.
