Chimney Rock Elevage Blanc White Wine Napa Valley 2007
| Vintage: | 2007 |
| Wine Type: | White Wine |
| Appellation: | Napa Valley |
| Alcohol %: | 13.90% |
| Tasting Notes: | Aromas of apricot, ripe peach and an intriguing hint of floral, interwoven with light caramel and vanilla. The front palate is generous with fruit. The texture of this wine is luscious and it has a rich mid-palate with a beautiful, long finish. |
| Vineyard Notes: | Crafted from our 8 acre vineyard on Mee Lane in Rutherford both our Sauvignon Blanc and Sauvignon Gris were planted in 2002. These vines from well drained soils, have produced extraordinary fruit from an early age and have earned us recognition in the creation of this wine of texture and ageability. |
| Production Notes: | The 2007 vintage brought us extraordinary fruit in the Stags Leap District. A dry spring and a warm year in comparison to the previous two vintages greatly reduced the berry size on our property. The result was a harvest which produced wines of great concentration and depth, power and elegance. |
