From our Southern-most hillside – Alpine Vineyard traditionally gives us low yielding vines which gift us with wines of beautiful structure and depth. This wine is Cabernet Sauvignon for the purist – a singular expression of these remarkable 2 acres. This vineyard is planted to the same clone of Cabernet Sauvignon as our acclaimed Ganymede Vineyard. The 2013 vintage, a warm and dry year, still demonstrates that Alpine is one of the coolest microclimates on our estate. Enjoy this rare creation.Color: Deep ruby purple
Aroma: Aromas of plums, cherry, caramel, dried sage, forest floor with hints of mint and floral
Taste: The tannins are fine grain and supple in this young wine. The mid palate is richly textured with a delightfully long finish. If consumed young, we recommend decanting.
